Sabbat Newcastle Gig Preview | The Lubber Fiend
Sabbat play The Lubber Fiend Newcastle on 24 October 2026 with Venomwolf. Preview the show and confirmed event details.
Sabbat Newcastle comes to The Lubber Fiend on Saturday 24 October 2026, pairing the long-running Japanese metal band with Venomwolf for a heavy Saturday-night bill. The official Fatsoma listing confirms the show from 7pm to 11pm and places the two bands together under Byker Grave Bookings.

Advance tickets are listed at £18.50 plus booking fee. It is a relatively rare Newcastle appearance from a band whose history stretches back to 1984, giving the date a stronger pull than a routine touring stop.
Sabbat Newcastle at The Lubber Fiend
Sabbat have spent more than four decades operating in the Japanese underground, building a catalogue rooted in black metal, heavy metal and an intentionally raw approach to performance. Their longevity has made them a cult name well beyond Japan, particularly among listeners drawn to the formative edges of extreme metal.
The Lubber Fiend is an unusually intimate place to see a band with that history. Rather than separating the audience from the stage, the room keeps everything close, which should suit material built around speed, volume and a deliberately abrasive live sound.
Venomwolf adds another heavy element to the bill, keeping the evening stylistically focused rather than mixing unrelated support. Byker Grave Bookings has become a regular source of heavier and more extreme shows around Newcastle, and this is one of its most distinctive October bookings.
