Selkie Brings inWaves Tour to Little Buildings, Newcastle

Selkie at Little Buildings brings the Glasgow artist and producer to Newcastle on Wednesday 7 October 2026 as part of the inWaves UK tour, with support from Marina Yozora.

Selkie creates voice-led soft electronic and ambient pop, combining electric guitar with atmospheric vocal sound design. The project moves through spacious songwriting, cosmic textures and touches of trip-hop-inspired rhythm, putting the voice at the centre of the arrangements.

The Newcastle show follows the August 2026 release of Selkie’s debut EP inWaves. Across six tracks, the release explores distance, renewal and the gradual return of energy and connection. Singles including “Hours”, “Heartspeak” and “Gold” helped introduce the project ahead of the EP, while Selkie has also received support from BBC Introducing Scotland and BBC Radio Scotland.

Before the UK dates, Selkie had already taken the project internationally, with performances across Japan, Mexico and Chile. The October run includes stops in Manchester and Newcastle before returning to Glasgow later in the month.
