VOLBEATen Newcastle | Trillians Gig Preview

VOLBEATen Newcastle brings the UK tribute act’s take on Volbeat to Trillians Rock Bar on Saturday 3 October 2026, with the Newcastle show landing just one night after a Glasgow date at the Classic Grand Ballroom.

That back-to-back routing gives the Trillians date a bit more weight than a standalone tribute booking. Tickets Scotland lists VOLBEATen at Glasgow’s Classic Grand Ballroom on Friday 2 October, before the band heads south to Newcastle for the Saturday-night slot.

VOLBEATen Newcastle at Trillians

Trillians is a natural room for this kind of show. The venue’s October calendar is built heavily around rock, metal and tribute acts, while the close stage keeps the focus on riffs and crowd response rather than production. For a Volbeat tribute, that matters because the material sits between heavy metal, hard rock and a strong rock ’n’ roll pulse, so a compact club setting should keep the songs punchy rather than oversized.

The timing also puts VOLBEATen into a strong opening weekend for the venue. The Glamz play on Friday 2 October before VOLBEATen take the Saturday slot, giving Trillians two very different takes on classic rock influences across consecutive nights. Later in the month the programme continues with Metal Militia, Son Of Nirvana, Ozzbest and Witches Sabbath.

A touring tribute act rather than a one-off local booking

VOLBEATen are not only appearing at Trillians. The Glasgow date the night before shows the band moving between cities on the same weekend, while other 2026 listings place them on bills with established tribute acts elsewhere in the UK. That gives the Newcastle show a touring feel and makes it a useful chance to catch the act in a smaller room while they are already on the road.

For anyone who follows Trillians regularly, the contrast with the previous night is also worth noting. The Glamz lean into 70s glam, while VOLBEATen shift the weekend towards heavier modern rock. It is a simple piece of programming, but it gives the first October weekend a clear identity instead of two interchangeable tribute nights.
