Annis Rallis

Annis Rallis is a British-Greek singer-songwriter, guitarist and ukuleleist originally from the North East. Her music brings together pop, country and Mediterranean touches, with her Greek heritage feeding directly into the way she writes and presents her original material.

Before concentrating on her own songs, Rallis built a professional theatre career that included productions such as Dirty Dancing, Rock of Ages, Berlin Berlin, West Side Story and Jim Steinman’s Dance of the Vampires. Her original releases include Éna Astéri and Fake Love, both supported by BBC Introducing North East, followed by debut EP Eyes Wide Open.

Since returning to the region, Rallis has appeared regularly around North East venues, including a full-band EP launch at The Forum Music Centre in Darlington. The combination of North East roots, Greek heritage and years of professional stage experience gives her songwriting project a distinctive starting point.
