Chloe & The Brainwaves

Chloe & The Brainwaves are an emerging North East act developing through the region’s original-music showcases and grassroots venues. Their live work has placed them on bills designed around new local artists, giving the band room to build an audience while shaping their sound in front of people rather than behind closed doors.

The project is still at an early stage, with live performance doing much of the work in introducing the band to new audiences. Regular showcase appearances have helped them become a familiar name around Newcastle’s grassroots circuit while the group continue developing their own material.

That route through smaller independent venues can be one of the most useful ways for a new band to develop, and Chloe & The Brainwaves are currently in that phase: playing, refining the material and gradually giving audiences more to recognise from one appearance to the next.
