CLAUDIA are a North East rock band with a sound built around heavy, catchy riffs, sharp hooks and an energetic live presence. Their music carries enough weight to feel substantial without losing the sense of fun that comes through in the way they perform.
The band have developed through Sunderland and Newcastle’s grassroots circuit, playing regular local shows and festival bills while gradually building a recognisable identity of their own. The contrast between heavier guitar work and a more playful stage presence gives CLAUDIA a character that comes across most clearly live.
A 2026 appearance at Pop Recs in Sunderland as part of a local music documentary event alongside Slalom D and Trivia keeps that regional connection firmly in view. The band’s story is still being written through the North East rooms and audiences that have supported them so far.
