Critch

Critch are an emerging North East act developing through grassroots gigs and regional showcase events. Their appearance on the New Horizons Festival line-up in Newcastle has helped place them in front of audiences interested in new local artists at the earliest stage of their development.

With limited public detail available beyond that live activity, the most useful picture comes from the band’s presence on those bills. Showcase slots give Critch the chance to refine their material, strengthen the set and build an audience through repeated performances rather than trying to define the project too narrowly too soon.

For now, the North East grassroots circuit remains the clearest place to follow how Critch are developing and where the band’s sound heads next.
