Skye Abraham is a North East singer-songwriter and pianist developing her own pop material through the region’s grassroots and youth-music scene. She began busking on Newcastle’s Quayside at a young age before expanding into piano and original songwriting.
Training at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music has added another side to her development, leading to performances with Young Sinfonia and at the Royal Albert Hall. That mix of classical experience and contemporary songwriting gives Abraham a broader musical base than a standard acoustic-pop route.
Her North East live activity continues alongside that training, including Newcastle appearances at venues such as The Globe. The project is still developing, but the combination of songwriting, piano and substantial performance experience already gives her a strong foundation.
