The Gathering Sounds 2026 takes over Stockton-on-Tees on Saturday 26 September with more than 50 acts playing across seven stages from 1pm until 11pm.

The independent multi-venue festival has been running since 2018 and is organised by KU Promotions, with a focus on new and emerging artists from across the UK and Ireland alongside talent from Teesside and the wider North East.

Overpass, Basht. and Tom A. Smith are among the leading names already confirmed. The wider bill includes TTSSFU, Good Health Good Wealth, M60, Shelf Lives, Central Arcade, Charlie Floyd, Cutscene, Daisy Brown, The Dream Machine, The Kellows, Marketplace, Marrick, Swindled and more, with further announcements expected.

The Gathering Sounds 2026 venues

The festival runs across ARC Stockton Arts Centre, KU Stockton, The Georgian Theatre, The Green Room, The LINK and The Social Room. ARC hosts two stages, bringing the total to seven. The LINK hosts the This Feeling stage, while The Green Room hosts the NAME stage.
