Koch Marshall Trio Bring Blues-Rock Improvisation to The Cluny

Koch Marshall Trio Newcastle brings Greg Koch’s blues-rooted guitar work to The Cluny on Sunday 11 October 2026. Rather than treating genre lines as fixed, the trio moves between blues, rock and jazz. Improvisation sits at the centre of the performance.

Koch has built a substantial catalogue across more than 20 records. His recent album, Blues, also widens the picture through collaborations. Larry McCray appears on “Can’t Be Satisfied”, while Jimmy Hall and the Memphis Horns join “Can’t Lose What You Never Had”.
