Major Accident Bring Darlington Punk Home to The Forum with Foreign Legion

Major Accident at The Forum Darlington brings one of the town’s longest-running punk names back home on Saturday 31 October 2026, with Welsh street-punk and Oi! band Foreign Legion joining them for a Halloween night rooted in two very different regional scenes.

For Major Accident, The Forum is more than another stop on the calendar. The venue describes the band’s recurring autumn returns as part of Darlington’s street-punk tradition, while Major Accident’s own 2026 schedule places the show among a wider run of dates at home and overseas. That makes this one of the clearest North East homecoming gigs in The Forum’s autumn programme.

Major Accident’s history stretches back to Darlington’s late-1970s punk scene. Founding singer Paul Larkin and bassist Con Larkin remain central names in the band’s story, while the catalogue has taken their version of street punk well beyond the North East. Even so, home shows have continued to matter, and The Forum points back to previous October appearances as part of that long relationship with the town.

Foreign Legion bring a separate strand of UK street-punk history. Formed in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, in 1984, they have maintained their own long-running place in the Oi! and punk circuit. Pairing them with Major Accident gives the night more weight than a single-band nostalgia show, with both acts bringing decades of material and live experience.
