South Arcade Bring Welcome To The Real World to NX Newcastle

South Arcade Newcastle brings the Oxford quartet to NX on Saturday 13 February 2027, with Mouth Culture joining the bill. The show is part of the Welcome To The Real World run and follows a period in which South Arcade have moved rapidly from emerging pop-punk name to an act selling out headline shows on both sides of the Atlantic.

South Arcade Newcastle arrives after a major step up

The NX date follows a 2026 that has pushed South Arcade into much bigger rooms, including arena support dates with 5 Seconds of Summer and festival appearances at Download, TRNSMT, Summer School and Vans Warped Tour. That growth gives the Newcastle headline show a different feel from an early-career club date: the band arrive with a much larger live audience behind them but still in a room where the performance should feel close and physical.

The current live era also builds on the PLAY EP, which gathered singles including Supermodels, FEAR OF HEIGHTS and Drive Myself Home alongside newer tracks. Those songs sit next to the material that first accelerated the band’s rise, including 2005, stone cold summer and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

Mouth Culture are confirmed as support, giving the bill another UK alternative act whose sound sits naturally alongside South Arcade without simply mirroring them. That makes arriving early worthwhile rather than treating the opening set as background.

NX confirms doors at 6pm, with the show running until 10pm. The event is listed as 14+, with under-16s required to attend with an adult. Tickets are currently £25 plus booking fee.
