Stornoway Bring Beyonder Tour to The Fire Station Sunderland

Stornoway at The Fire Station Sunderland comes to the city on Thursday 18 February 2027, with support from Alice Boyd and a set built around the Oxford band’s new album Beyonder. The concert starts at 8pm, with doors from 7:30pm, and marks Stornoway’s first appearance at The Fire Station.

The band have always occupied a slightly unusual space in British indie. The venue is a good match for that sound. The Fire Station’s auditorium gives the band enough space for the wider arrangements and instrumental detail to open up, but it remains compact enough for quieter acoustic passages to feel close to the audience. That balance should suit a group whose live sets often move between delicacy and much bigger communal moments.

Alice Boyd is confirmed as support for the Sunderland show. Her appearance adds another songwriter-led element to the evening before Stornoway take the stage, making this a fuller folk and indie bill rather than a standalone headline performance.
