Ewan Sim is a Manchester-based singer-songwriter blending soul, indie, pop and rock around emotionally direct writing and a strong melodic instinct. His songs can move from intimate singer-songwriter material into fuller live arrangements without losing the voice at the centre.
Debut EP Sense Of It All helped widen his audience and picked up Spotify editorial support, while songs including Lost & Found, Land of the Living and Meaning of Life explore pressure, hope and uncertainty with a straightforward emotional tone.
Sim has built an increasingly busy live profile through SXSW London, Manchester International Festival and support slots with artists including Richard Ashcroft, The Libertines and The Wombats. North East appearances including Aelius Alternative Festival connect him to the regional circuit, but his current base and identity remain Manchester rather than the North East.
