Idle Hands

Idle Hands

September 10, 2026

Idle Hands are a Newcastle alternative-indie band whose identity has been shaped by the city’s grassroots venues and a steady run of live shows. Their music is guitar-led and direct, with the kind of energy that has helped them move from smaller rooms into headline dates around the North East.

The band have already topped bills at venues including The Cluny and Zerox, while also taking their music beyond Newcastle. That live experience gives the songs a confident, physical edge without losing the melodic side that keeps the band rooted in indie rather than straightforward rock.

In October 2026 Idle Hands appear at The Grove alongside Central Arcade and Stageminus, another Newcastle date that places them firmly within the current local guitar scene.
