Tired of Fighting are a Newcastle upon Tyne emo-punk band formed in 2019, combining the urgency of melodic punk with the emotional directness of early-2000s emo. Their songs favour story-led writing and strong hooks, giving the heavier moments enough melody to stay memorable.
The band have developed through the North East live circuit, building their reputation through grassroots shows rather than smoothing away the rougher edges of the music. That suits a sound rooted in punk energy, personal lyrics and the kind of choruses designed to be heard in a busy room rather than treated as studio decoration.
In October 2026 they headline The Cluny in Newcastle with Amongst the Doubt and Reset Repeat, another hometown show that keeps the band closely tied to the scene where they started.
