The Bone Idols are a Darlington-area live band with a growing place on the town’s rhythm-and-blues circuit. Regular appearances across local festivals and venues, including Darlington Rhythm & Tunes and The Forum Music Centre, have made them a familiar name around the town’s live scene.

The band’s repeated festival appearances show a group building recognition through steady live work rather than one-off shows. Their place on mixed blues, rock and roots bills gives them room to move between styles while keeping the focus on an energetic live set.

A December 2026 support slot with Deborah Bonham Band at The Forum Music Centre is one of their bigger recent hometown dates, putting The Bone Idols alongside an established blues-rock act while keeping a strong Darlington presence on the bill.
