Big Ass Truck Bring Inland Empire Hardcore to The Grove Newcastle

Big Ass Truck at The Grove Newcastle has been announced for Thursday 21 January 2027, with Pintglass and Seconds Out joining the bill.

The San Bernardino band bring a heavy mix of metallic hardcore and beatdown to Newcastle as part of their UK run. Doors open at 7pm at The Grove, giving the Ouseburn venue an early dose of full-volume touring hardcore for 2027.

Big Ass Truck have built their name around blunt riffs, breakdown-heavy songs and an intentionally over-the-top sense of humour. Their recent material has pushed that approach further, keeping the music direct, abrasive and designed for packed live rooms.

Pintglass are already confirmed as support and bring a similarly hard-edged approach, while Seconds Out complete the Newcastle bill. That makes this more than a single touring headline set, with the night shaped as a full heavy package from the start.

The Grove has become a regular stop for independent touring acts across punk, alternative, metal and hardcore. Its compact live room should suit a bill built around physical, high-energy performances, where the audience is close to the stage and there is little distance between bands and crowd.
