DJ EZ Newcastle takes over NX on Friday 2 October 2026 for a late-night UK garage session running from 10pm until 4am. ARTHI, DIFFRENT and FONZO are also on the bill, with further names still to be announced.
The booking carries more weight than a routine nostalgia night because DJ EZ has been part of UK garage since its formative years. Born Otis Roberts, he started DJing as a teenager on pirate radio before becoming a major figure on Kiss FM, where his rapid mixing style helped take garage far beyond its original club circuit.

His connection to the Pure Garage compilation series is another reason the Newcastle date matters.
