Hollow Hand bring psychedelic folk-rock to Three Tanners Bank

Hollow Hand at Three Tanners Bank takes place on Saturday 17 October 2026, bringing Max Kinghorn-Mills’ psychedelic folk-rock project to North Shields. Doors are listed for 7pm, with the date sitting in the middle of Hollow Hand’s autumn run.

The project draws from classic songwriting, jangly guitar pop and a more psychedelic strain of folk-rock, creating songs that feel rooted in older influences without simply copying them. Hollow Hand’s recent work has picked up praise for its melodic detail and shifting arrangements, and that should make the Three Tanners Bank show an especially good fit for listeners who like their guitar music warm, layered and a little unpredictable.

The venue’s compact room should suit the material well. Hollow Hand can move from quiet, reflective passages into fuller band sections, and an intimate setting gives both sides of that sound room to register. Three Tanners Bank has also been building a strong run of touring alternative acts, so this date feels consistent with the venue’s increasingly varied programme.

The show takes place on Saturday 17 October with doors at 7pm. Tickets are available through Gigantic, while the wider venue schedule can be checked through Three Tanners Bank.

For fans of melodic psych, folk-rock and classic guitar songwriting, this is one of the more distinctive small-room bookings in North Tyneside this autumn. The show should offer plenty of space for the songs themselves to take centre stage rather than relying on a big production around them.

Expect a set that moves between bright harmonies, hazy textures and more direct rock moments, all delivered in a room where the audience should be close enough to catch the detail.

Event details can change, so check the venue, promoter or artist channels before travelling for the latest timings, ticket information and any support announcements.
