Little Miss Nasty brings dark spectacle to The Cluny

Little Miss Nasty at The Cluny brings an American collision of heavy music, dark burlesque and aerial performance to Newcastle on Wednesday 9 December 2026. This is designed as a complete visual production rather than a conventional band set, with choreography, vocals and industrial-scale sound sharing the stage. Chicago-based artist I Ya Toyah appears as the special guest. Doors open at 7pm, tickets are £22.50 plus fees and the show is strictly 18+.

Little Miss Nasty at The Cluny: concert, burlesque and rebellion

Little Miss Nasty has built the show around the friction between concert energy and theatrical movement. Heavy music drives the performance, but the impact also depends on tightly controlled choreography, aerial work, provocative visuals and fetish-influenced costume. Those elements are not added around the edges of the music. They operate together, turning the stage into an immersive production with its own dark, confrontational language.

The group returns to the UK after selling out shows internationally, and The Cluny date should bring that scale of presentation into unusually close range. In a room where the performers and audience are separated by very little distance, the physical detail of the dance and aerial work can register as strongly as the volume. That makes the venue combination distinctive: a production with a large visual identity placed inside the pressure of an Ouseburn club.

Special guest I Ya Toyah extends the night beyond one form of performance. Born in Poland and based in Chicago, she works alone across voice, production, synthesisers, guitar and visual art. Her music moves through industrial, dark electronic and metal textures while exploring mental health, identity and the strain of staying human within a culture fixated on perfection. The result is a support set connected to the headliner through atmosphere and intent, not simply genre.

The bill should therefore unfold as one continuous world. I Ya Toyah’s combination of vulnerability and distortion establishes the darker electronic edge before Little Miss Nasty expands it through ensemble movement, aerial spectacle and punk attitude.
