Matilda Mann brings her autumn tour to Newcastle University SU

Matilda Mann at Newcastle University Students’ Union takes place on Saturday 10 October 2026, bringing the London singer-songwriter’s autumn tour to the city. Doors are listed for 7pm, with the show landing in the Students’ Union as Mann continues a run of UK headline dates.

Mann’s music sits between intimate indie-pop and understated alternative songwriting, with her voice and lyrical detail doing much of the heavy lifting. Over the past few years she has steadily grown from smaller rooms into bigger headline spaces, helped by a catalogue that feels equally suited to headphones and a full live band.

The Newcastle date should suit that progression well. The Students’ Union gives the set more room to breathe than a tiny club while still keeping the crowd close enough for the quieter songs to land. For fans who have followed Mann through earlier EPs and singles, the tour offers the chance to hear how that material has developed on stage alongside newer songs.

The event is listed for Saturday 10 October with doors at 7pm. Current ticketing information is available through Ticketmaster, which lists the Newcastle University Students’ Union date as part of the tour.

There is a calm confidence to Mann’s best material, and that should translate well in a venue where the audience can focus on the songs rather than spectacle. Expect a set built around strong melodies, conversational lyrics and a gradual rise in intensity as the night develops.

The Newcastle show forms part of a wider UK run that also includes Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham and London. As a result, this should arrive as a well-shaped headline set rather than a one-off appearance.

Event details can change, so check the venue, promoter or artist channels before travelling for the latest timings, ticket information and any support announcements.
