Steve Pilgrim brings acoustic solo tour to Pilgrim Newcastle
Steve Pilgrim brings his acoustic solo tour to Pilgrim Newcastle on 13 November, with fresh 2026 material alongside his wider catalogue.

Steve Pilgrim Pilgrim Newcastle brings the Liverpool songwriter and touring musician to the city on Friday 13 November 2026. Doors open at 7.30pm, and the date forms part of an acoustic solo run from an artist whose work stretches well beyond his role in Paul Weller’s band.
Pilgrim has built a catalogue around acoustic-led songwriting, close harmonies and arrangements that leave room for double bass, piano, trumpet and additional voices. His solo records sit alongside a touring career that has connected him with Paul Weller and Cast, giving the Newcastle date a useful balance between familiar associations and his own material.
Steve Pilgrim Pilgrim Newcastle follows a fresh 2026 release
Peace In Your Warring arrived in August 2026. That makes the Pilgrim date a current solo show rather than a retrospective stop built mainly around older records. It follows Let The Love Be Found, released in December 2025 after a successful Kickstarter campaign and recorded mainly at Blackbarn Studios before being mastered at Abbey Road.
The acoustic tour puts Steve Pilgrim’s own songwriting at the centre. That distinction matters because his wider profile can easily be framed through the better-known artists he has worked with. In a small room, the focus shifts back to his voice, guitar and the songs that have built a substantial solo catalogue across records including Beautiful Blue, Morning Skies and Pixels and Paper.
The Pilgrim venue is particularly suited to that setup. A stripped-back performance does not need a large production to carry the material, while the room is intimate enough for quieter changes in phrasing and arrangement to stay audible. It should also give newer songs from Peace In Your Warring room to settle alongside earlier material without being buried by a larger stage show.
His catalogue also shows a long-running creative connection with Paul Weller. Weller contributed to Pixels and Paper and later co-wrote and produced material connected with Beautiful Blue, but the Newcastle date is billed specifically as Pilgrim’s acoustic solo tour.
Steve Pilgrim plays Pilgrim Newcastle on Friday 13 November 2026. Doors are at 7.30pm, tickets are £15 and the event is 14+, with under-18s accompanied by an adult. Check the artist and venue channels before travelling for any late changes.
