Adult DVD bring their synth-driven live show to The Grove

Adult DVD Newcastle arrives at The Grove on Saturday 24 October with Kiosk in support and doors at 7pm. The Leeds six-piece reaches Newcastle less than a month after releasing its self-titled debut album, so this date lands at a useful point to hear how the new record translates from studio sessions into the band’s full live setup.

Adult DVD was released on 25 September 2026 as a 12-track album produced by Danny Blackburn and Jake Williams at The Nave Studios in Leeds. The record includes Do As I Please, Coffin Dodger, Cold Caller, Cowboy On Aisle Three and Real Tree Lee, while the band’s own Bandcamp tags pull together dance rock, indie, post-punk and synth-punk.

That timing gives The Grove show a clear angle beyond another date on the autumn calendar. By 24 October, the album will have been out for four weeks and the band will already have taken the material through Cardiff, Bristol, Sheffield, Birmingham, Cambridge, Oxford, Nottingham and Glasgow before reaching Newcastle. The following dates continue to Brighton, London, Leeds and Manchester.

The six-piece format matters too. Adult DVD list Harry Hanson, Greg Lonsdale, Danny Blackburn, Jake Williams, Jonathan Newell and George Manson as the members behind the record, with all songs written and performed by the band. In a room the size of The Grove, the combination of guitars, rhythm section and electronics should keep the focus on how those parts lock together rather than on large-scale production.

Kiosk joins the Newcastle bill as support. The show takes place on Saturday 24 October 2026, with doors advertised for 7pm. Tickets and the latest availability are through Gigantic.
