Gimp Fist

Gimp Fist are a punk band from Bishop Auckland in County Durham, with a long-running place in the UK street-punk scene. Their music combines melodic punk songwriting with the directness and pace of classic street punk, giving the songs enough hooks to stick without sanding away the rougher edges.

Over the years the band have built their reputation through regular touring, independent releases and a strong live following rather than relying on one breakthrough moment. That consistency has made them a familiar name to punk audiences well beyond the North East while keeping their County Durham roots firmly part of the story.

Gimp Fist continue to play around the region as well as further afield. A Newcastle date at Trillians Rock Bar on 12 November 2026 adds another local stop to a live history shaped by grassroots rooms, festival bills and the kind of close-up shows where melodic street punk works best.
