Jude

Jude is a Newcastle singer-songwriter whose music blends acoustic neo-soul with touches of jazz and hip-hop. Warm vocals, rhythmic guitar work and an easy sense of groove give the songs movement without overwhelming the writing itself.

The stripped-back nature of Jude’s performances keeps the focus on melody and lyric, while leaving enough space for the soul and jazz details to come through. That balance gives the music an intimate feel without making it sound fragile or overly polished.

As part of Newcastle’s grassroots scene, Jude’s sound stands out for the way it brings several influences together without forcing them into separate boxes. The result is relaxed, melodic and built around the connection between voice, guitar and rhythm.
