Rose Malus

Rose Malus are a North East alternative rock band whose sound brings indie energy together with blues-influenced guitar work. Their songs favour strong riffs and a direct live feel, giving the band a sound that works equally well in smaller grassroots rooms and on broader regional bills.

The group have built their following through regular shows across Teesside, Newcastle and Darlington. That steady circuit has allowed the band to develop in public, tightening the heavier side of the music while keeping enough melody and groove to stop the songs becoming one-dimensional.

Rose Malus remain closely connected to the North East scene, with their identity shaped more by live momentum and regional audiences than by image or hype. The appeal is straightforward: guitar music with enough grit, blues colour and personality to stand out on a busy bill.
