Royal Northern Sinfonia is one of the North East’s most important musical institutions, with a history stretching back to 1958. Founded in Newcastle upon Tyne and now resident at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead, the orchestra has spent decades bringing chamber music, orchestral repertoire and new commissions to audiences across the region and far beyond it.
