Solcade are a North East five-piece whose sound mixes psychedelic funk rock, swampy grooves and socially conscious songwriting. Their influences include The Doors, Talking Heads, The Black Keys and Sly and the Family Stone.
The band have performed across the north of the UK and have been developing a strong regional live profile around Newcastle. Releases including debut single “One More Domino” and the Dot to Dot EP capture the energy of their live sound.
Solcade continue to appear on North East bills as both headliners and support, with their music centred on rhythm, groove and a psychedelic rock edge.
