Snakes With Tits

Snakes With Tits are a Newcastle-based alternative band whose music drifts between shoegaze, fuzz-heavy rock, dreamier textures and psychedelic noise. The group’s tongue-in-cheek description of the sound as ‘Radgewave Mamgaze’ suits a project that clearly has little interest in sitting neatly inside one genre.

The 2024 single Tyranny offered an early snapshot of that mix, while the five-track Tangents EP followed in February 2025. Across those releases, walls of guitar and hazier passages sit alongside a more abrasive edge, giving the band enough contrast to move from atmosphere to impact without losing their identity.

They have become a familiar name on Newcastle’s grassroots circuit, where the louder and less polished side of the material comes into its own. That live presence is an important part of the band’s appeal, with the songs carrying a different weight when the fuzz, noise and dynamics are pushed through a small room.
