Ten Eighty Trees

Ten Eighty Trees are an alternative rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, mixing heavy guitars, bright melodic hooks and a live energy that works in both grassroots rooms and larger festival settings. Their songs sit between modern alternative rock and the punchier end of indie, with enough weight in the riffs to give the choruses real lift.

Tracks such as Bare Minimum, Broken (Goodbye), Don’t Quit and The Family Secret helped establish that sound, while the 2026 album Bittersweet Coming Of Age pushed the songwriting into a fuller and more confident space. The band still operate with a strong DIY streak, keeping physical releases, merchandise and regular live activity close to the music itself.

Newcastle remains central to the band’s story, with local shows continuing alongside dates elsewhere in the UK. Festival appearances including Veritas have helped make Ten Eighty Trees one of the more recognisable names in the city’s current alternative-rock scene.
