Hivemind

Hivemind are a four-piece rock band from Sunderland, built around big riffs, sharp melodic hooks and an energetic live presence. Their sound sits between alternative rock, emo and heavier guitar music, with influences including Marmozets, Paramore and My Chemical Romance.

The catalogue includes tracks such as Look At What I’ve Wasted, Domino, Big Deal, Left Side, A Lullaby High, Born To Thrive, Fire! Fire! Fire!, Medicine and Crying All The Time. BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 Music and Amazing Radio support have helped widen their audience, while the band have also supported acts including The LaFontaines, My Vitriol, Fangclub, Airways and Shaun Ryder.

Their reputation in the North East has been built just as much through grassroots shows, including sold-out dates at Head of Steam in Newcastle and Independent in Sunderland. Festival appearances at events such as A Stone’s Throw, NARC., Veritas and Afterlight have kept Hivemind firmly connected to the regional alternative scene.
