The Paul Austin Band are a hard-rock outfit fronted by singer-songwriter Paul Austin, blending classic British rock, blues and Americana-tinged storytelling into a sound built for live rooms. The music is direct, melodic and guitar-led, with big choruses and gritty vocals at the centre.

Debut album Austintacious received its full digital release in January 2026, with tracks including Stop the Rain, Land of Plenty and Ballad of a Teesside Boy. The latter makes the project’s North East connection explicit, while recent live material has also captured the heavier side of the band.

The Paul Austin Band have toured around the UK and performed in the United States, including a show at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. Closer to home, Newcastle appearances at Trillians have kept the band connected to the North East live circuit.
