EERA Brings New Album to The Cluny Newcastle
EERA plays The Cluny Newcastle on 16 September 2026, bringing third album I’ll Stop When I’m Done to Ouseburn.

EERA Newcastle comes to The Cluny on Wednesday 16 September 2026, giving Anna Lena Bruland a headline stop in Ouseburn during a short UK run. The date sits between a London show on 14 September and a Glasgow appearance the following night, with the Newcastle performance starting from 7.30pm.
Bruland’s latest chapter is centred on third album I’ll Stop When I’m Done, a record that moves her atmospheric guitar music into a softer, more deliberately researched space. Produced by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, the album looks at modern womanhood through the stories and public images of stars from Hollywood’s Golden Age.
EERA Newcastle brings a research-led third album to The Cluny
The Cluny show arrives with EERA touring third album I’ll Stop When I’m Done, her first research-led record and a project inspired by the lives of women such as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. That gives this date a stronger focus than a routine return to the road, because the current songs are built around a specific idea as well as a new sonic direction.
EERA has always balanced guitars with more atmospheric detail, but the latest material is deliberately less forceful. The album was recorded with Bruland singing softly from a sofa, an approach that pushed the performances towards something more intimate and conversational. In a room the size of The Cluny, that should give the quieter details space without losing the impact of the fuller sections.
The wider tour history also shows how far the project has travelled. EERA has previously supported Mitski, Ghostpoet and Public Service Broadcasting, while festival appearances have included End of the Road and Roskilde. The Newcastle headline date therefore lands at a point where the project already has plenty of live experience behind it, but the current album still feels like a fresh shift.
