Fleetwood Mac Rumours Return to Wylam for Three Nights

Fleetwood Mac Rumours Wylam Brewery returns for three Christmas shows on Saturday 19, Sunday 20 and Monday 21 December 2026, with the Transatlantic Ensemble performing Rumours in full alongside other Fleetwood Mac favourites. Doors open at 7pm for each 18+ standing show, with the first night already sold out.

Fleetwood Mac Rumours Wylam Brewery becomes a Christmas fixture

Three consecutive dates make this more than another tribute booking in the December calendar. The 2026 run follows four consecutive Wylam Christmas sell-outs the previous year, turning the show into a recurring Newcastle festive tradition. The return suggests the combination of the album, the ensemble format and the Palace of Arts has found a sizeable local audience.

The centrepiece is Rumours, performed from start to finish by the Transatlantic Ensemble. That gives the night a clear shape rather than treating Fleetwood Mac’s catalogue as a loose greatest-hits set. Once the album is complete, the musicians also draw on other parts of the band’s history.

The current plan has the ensemble on stage at around 8.15pm, split across two sets with an interval of roughly 20 minutes. The live music is expected to finish at about 10.30pm, with DJ Tom Caulker continuing the night afterwards. Those timings are a guide, so checking again before travelling is worthwhile.

Wylam Brewery works particularly well for this production because the room can accommodate a large ensemble without losing the communal feel of a standing Christmas show. The Palace of Arts also gives songs built around layered vocals and multiple instrumental parts enough space to sound substantial rather than compressed.

The sold-out Saturday is another sign of how established the event has become. Sunday 20 and Monday 21 December give people two further chances to catch the same Christmas run without creating separate, near-identical previews for each night.
