Mae Stephens Brings Her First Tour to Cluny 2
Alt-pop artist Mae Stephens brings her first headline tour to Cluny 2 through Music Venue Trust’s Liveline Fund, with unreleased songs in the set.

Mae Stephens Newcastle brings the alt-pop artist’s first tour to Cluny 2 on Tuesday 3 November 2026. The date is part of a short UK run supported by Music Venue Trust, placing a globally streamed artist back inside the grassroots circuit.

The November run is Mae Stephens’ first tour, with unreleased songs planned alongside established tracks. That gives the Newcastle show a genuine point of discovery. Listeners will recognise the breakthrough material, while other songs may be heard live before their full release.
Mae Stephens Newcastle returns pop to a grassroots room
“If We Ever Broke Up” changed the scale of Stephens’ career. The track has passed 500 million streams and received Gold certification in Britain and the United States. However, her route into music began in local pubs before a viral social-media moment brought a much larger audience.
Since then, Stephens has appeared on major stages alongside P!NK and BLACKPINK. Consequently, seeing her at Cluny 2 offers a sharp contrast. The room puts the performance within a few metres of the audience rather than across a festival field.
Music Venue Trust’s Liveline Fund is supporting the dates across grassroots venues. The fund backs venues, touring artists and promoters through contributions linked to larger arena and stadium shows. Therefore, this tour connects different levels of the live industry instead of treating them as separate worlds.
The intimate format should also suit Stephens’ new material. Unreleased songs can be tested through immediate audience reactions, while familiar tracks provide the singalong moments. Meanwhile, the first-tour setting means the shape of the set is still new to both artist and crowd.
Doors open at 7.30pm, and advance tickets cost £7.50 plus fees. The event is for ages 16 and over. Anyone under 18 must attend with an adult. No support act is currently named.
Mae Stephens plays Cluny 2, Newcastle, on Tuesday 3 November 2026. Tickets and updates are available through The Cluny’s official event page. Please check the venue and artist channels before travelling, as details can change.
