MIDNIGHT STORM at The Point Sunderland
Midnight Storm bring a North East party-band set to Sunday Club at The Point Sunderland on 18 October. Event starts 3pm; band live 4pm. Free entry.
Midnight Storm take over The Point Sunderland’s Sunday Club on 18 October, bringing a North East party and function band into an early-afternoon live slot. The set is built around familiar songs, strong vocals and the kind of audience involvement that works best when the room is ready to join in.
Table Of Content
The timing gives the show its own character. Sunday Club starts at 3pm, Happy Hour runs from 3pm to 4pm, and Midnight Storm are live at 4pm. That makes it a very different kind of live date from the Friday and Saturday nights, where bands usually appear much later.
Midnight Storm at Sunday Club
Party and function bands live or die by how well they read a room, and that is where Midnight Storm’s format should fit The Point well. The band are there to keep people moving and singing rather than build the night around one narrow genre or a single artist’s catalogue.
There is also something useful about the early Sunday schedule. You can head into Sunderland for the afternoon, catch the full set and still be finished long before a normal evening gig would even begin. For people who like live music but do not always want a late night, that makes this date especially accessible.
Sunday timings
Entry is free. The event starts at 3pm, Happy Hour runs until 4pm and Midnight Storm are on stage at 4pm. The Point is in Sunderland city centre, close to Sunderland Station and Park Lane.
Check The Point’s official event listing before travelling for any timing changes. More dates at the venue are on SoundBite North East’s The Point Sunderland page, with other live music in the Upcoming Gigs guide.
