Northern Roots Xmas Showcase returns to Pilgrim

Northern Roots Xmas Pilgrim Newcastle returns on Friday 4 December 2026 with another local showcase built around nu-soul, hip-hop, R&B and afrobeats. Doors open at 7.30pm, with the full lineup and ticket details still to be announced, so the shape of the night is still developing.

Pilgrim has confirmed the broad musical direction already: nu-soul, hip-hop, R&B and afrobeats. That mix should give the night more movement than a single-genre showcase, while the still-unannounced lineup leaves room for new names to be added as the date approaches.
