The Bottom Line Close December Run at The Grove
South Coast pop-punk band The Bottom Line close a short December run at The Grove Newcastle on 19 December 2026.

The Bottom Line at The Grove brings the South Coast pop-punk band to Newcastle on Saturday 19 December 2026, with doors at 7pm. It is the final date in a short December run that also visits London, Portsmouth and Manchester, giving the Newcastle show the feel of a compact end-of-year tour rather than an isolated stop.
There is plenty of newer material for that run to draw from. The Bottom Line released Life Lately in March 2025, a 13-track album that keeps the band’s old-school pop-punk identity intact while widening the guest list. The record includes Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup on Unpredictable, Peej of Punk Rock Factory on Better Than This and Joshua Roberts of Magnolia Park on Here We Go Again.
Those collaborations are a useful clue to where The Bottom Line sit musically. Their own Bandcamp describes them as a South Coast pop-punk band with an old-school vibe, and their catalogue leans into the kind of fast, hooky, melodic writing that has kept the genre moving through several revival cycles. The band have also toured with Simple Plan, while previous support slots have included acts such as The Offspring, Waterparks and zebrahead.
That makes The Bottom Line at The Grove a strong fit for the venue’s smaller-room setup. Pop-punk works best when the gap between band and crowd is minimal, and The Grove gives this date a more direct feel than the larger stages the group have encountered elsewhere. It also lands six days before Christmas, which should suit a set built around pace, choruses and audience participation.
The Newcastle date follows the band’s Manchester show at The Deaf Institute on 18 December and closes the advertised run on 19 December. Doors are listed for 7pm, with the event scheduled to finish at 10.30pm on the Gigantic listing.
Tickets are available through the official Grove ticketing page. As always, check the venue and artist channels before travelling in case timings or event details change.
