Finn Forster is a Middlesbrough-born singer-songwriter whose guitar-driven songs are rooted in the people, places and experiences of Tees Valley. His writing favours big, anthemic melodies without losing the personal detail underneath them, with a voice that can move from intimate verses into much larger choruses.

Forster launched his professional career in 2019 and has since released several EPs, including Grey Skies and 2025’s Embers, alongside singles such as Pablo and 2026 track Strangers. His music has received support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 and Radio X, while Pablo helped underline the emotional, story-led side of his songwriting.

Live, he has built from more than a thousand regional gigs into major festival appearances and international support slots. In 2025 he joined Stereophonics on their European arena tour, while 2026 brought a larger headline run including The Grove in Newcastle and Independent in Sunderland. Through all of that growth, Middlesbrough and Teesside remain central to the songs and the way he presents them.
