Zilch Patrol are a Newcastle upon Tyne group from Byker whose sound combines noise rock, post-punk, post-hardcore, shoegaze and programmed drums.
Formed around the city’s DIY scene, the band have developed a deliberately abrasive sound built on fuzzed-out guitars, driving beats and feverish vocals. Their self-titled release arrived in 2023, followed by the 2026 album Glamour.
Zilch Patrol describe themselves as a North East band and have continued to carve out a place in Newcastle’s post-industrial punk landscape through independent releases and local live shows.
