Cheekface Newcastle comes to The Grove on Thursday 26 November as part of the Los Angeles band’s 2026 UK run. Doors are listed for 7pm, with Emperor X and Playboy Manbaby joining the bill for a three-act night that sits near the end of Cheekface’s November dates.
The tour arrives during the campaign for Podium, Cheekface’s latest album. The record gives the Newcastle show a current centre of gravity, rather than leaving the band to lean only on the catalogue that built their following through earlier releases and relentless touring.

Podium gives this UK run its most immediate context, with the band carrying new songs into a schedule that moves through Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton and Birmingham before reaching Newcastle. The Grove date then leads into the London stop two days later, placing the North East show close to the end of the UK leg.
Cheekface have built their identity around talk-sung vocals, wiry guitar lines and lyrics that turn anxious everyday detail into something sharp and funny.
