LOCK N LOAD at The Point Sunderland

Lock N Load take over The Point Sunderland’s Live Lounge on Friday 16 October with a set built for people who want the classic-rock staples played by a full band. Strong vocals and harmonies, guitar solos and a solid bass-and-drum section give the songs the weight they need.

AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Journey, Bon Jovi, Queen, Whitesnake and Foreigner all sit comfortably inside the repertoire, so the band are working with material that depends on a strong vocal and a convincing guitar sound rather than subtle background arrangements.

The event starts at 7pm, with Happy Hour running from 7pm to 8pm. Lock N Load are live on stage at 8:45pm and entry is free. That gives the room time to fill before the band comes on, which should suit a set built around large choruses and familiar riffs.
