Primitive Warfare Brings War Metal to The Lubber Fiend

Primitive Warfare at The Lubber Fiend brings the South Carolina black and death metal duo to Newcastle on Wednesday 28 October, with Head of the Baptist also on the bill. The show is advertised for 7pm and sits inside Primitive Warfare’s European run, which moves through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Glasgow, Newcastle and London.

Primitive Warfare have built their name around an abrasive combination of black metal, death metal and war metal. Releases including Undulating Torment and the 2024 album Extinction Protocol favour density and aggression over polish, with a sound designed to feel physical as much as musical. Their Bandcamp tour schedule confirms Newcastle as one of the UK stops before the band heads south to London.
