SUNDAY CLUB LIVE with MIDNIGHT ECHOES – The Point Sunderland
Midnight Echoes bring an early Sunday rock and pop set to The Point Sunderland on 27 September. Sunday Club starts 3pm; band live at 4pm. Free entry.
Midnight Echoes take over The Point Sunderland’s Sunday Club on 27 September, bringing a five-piece rock and pop set into an early-afternoon slot. The band’s members have decades of playing experience between them, and the sound is pitched firmly towards hard-hitting, energetic live music rather than background entertainment.
Table Of Content
The timing matters here because the event itself starts at 3pm. Happy Hour runs from 3pm to 4pm, then Midnight Echoes go live at 4pm. That makes this a very different proposition from the Friday and Saturday Live Lounge shows, where the bands usually appear much later in the evening.
Midnight Echoes at Sunday Club
Rock and pop delivered by experienced live musicians should suit the Sunday Club format well. The room needs a band that can get people involved quickly rather than spending half the set warming up, and this early slot gives the show a different energy from a conventional night-time gig.
There is something appealing about hearing a full rock band at this time of day. A 4pm stage time changes the pace completely. You can head into Sunderland for the afternoon, catch the full set, and still have the evening free afterwards.
Start time and entry
Entry is free. Sunday Club opens at 3pm, Happy Hour runs from 3pm to 4pm and Midnight Echoes are live on stage at 4pm. The Point is in Sunderland city centre, close to both Sunderland Station and Park Lane.
Check the venue’s official Live Lounge listing before travelling in case anything changes on the day. You can also find more dates on SoundBite North East’s The Point Sunderland page and across the region in the Upcoming Gigs guide.
