The Main Line Launch New Album at The Forum Darlington
Darlington R&B band The Main Line launch Men Of A Certain Age at The Forum on 16 October 2026 with special guests Jonny & The Rizlas.

The Main Line at The Forum Darlington will mark the release of the band’s new album Men Of A Certain Age on Friday 16 October 2026. The Darlington rhythm and blues group are using their home-town venue for the launch, with Jonny & The Rizlas joining as special guests.
The Main Line have built their sound around the tougher end of British R&B, taking cues from the likes of Dr Feelgood and The Pirates while also bringing their own material into the set. Their debut album Cobalt Blue arrived in 2024 and picked up radio support beyond the North East, including time on the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association chart. Since then, the band have continued to play across the regional blues circuit, including support slots and Darlington festival appearances.

The album launch takes place at The Forum Music Centre on Borough Road. Doors open at 7.30pm, with the show expected to start at around 8.30pm. The event is listed as 16+, with under-18s needing to attend with an adult. The Forum describes the setup as limited unreserved seating alongside standing space, so it is worth arriving in good time if you want one of the available seats.
Tickets are listed at £10 on the main event information, with the venue also noting standard booking charges for online purchases. The important part of this date, though, is the local connection. The Main Line are a Darlington band launching a new record on a familiar North East stage, which gives the night more weight than a standard tour stop. Special guests Jonny & The Rizlas add another live element before the headliners bring the new album into the room.
You can read more about The Main Line on their SoundBite artist profile and see more dates at The Forum Music Centre. Tickets and current event information are available from the official Forum event page.
