Adam Henderson is a Newcastle-based singer-songwriter whose alt-indie sound pairs honest lyrics with a distinctly Northern edge. His writing sits between modern British indie and more reflective acoustic songwriting, with influences including The Vaccines, The Cure, Courteeners and Gerry Cinnamon.

Recent material such as Runaway has pushed that sound forward with lively drums, melodic bass and warm acoustic guitar, while keeping Henderson’s vocal and storytelling at the centre. The balance between direct melodies and personal writing gives his songs an immediate feel without losing the detail underneath.

Henderson has continued to build his live reputation around Newcastle, including a 2026 headline show at REDS Bar with Rosie Larada and Jacob Garvey, as well as support slots at venues including Cluny 2. Those hometown dates have helped turn his recorded material into a fuller band sound on stage.
