Conor Michael is a Newcastle singer-songwriter whose heartfelt pop songs can shift from intimate acoustic performances to much fuller loop-built arrangements. That flexibility gives his live shows a broad dynamic range without losing the personal writing at the centre of the songs.
His debut album Chase The Day arrived in 2025 and includes tracks such as Back To You and Dark Of The Night. Earlier single Home reached number three on the Official UK Physical Singles Chart, while his version of Horse Outside found a sizeable streaming audience and helped bring his music to listeners well beyond the North East.
Michael has continued to build that audience through live dates, HMV in-store appearances and regular performances around Newcastle. One of his 2026 hometown shows takes him to The Cluny on 10 October, where the loop-powered side of his live set can sit alongside the quieter singer-songwriter material.
