Blink 18who give the Newcastle bill an extra local pop-punk connection. Skiddle describes the support as local legends, so the night is not simply a touring tribute landing in the city with a generic opener attached.

That pairing gives the show a stronger identity than a standard covers night. Taylor More Swiftly are already changing the source material by pulling it into pop-punk, while Blink 18who bring a second set built around one of the genre’s defining bands. The link between the two is obvious enough to keep the bill coherent without making both sets feel identical.

Head of Steam should suit the idea particularly well. The downstairs room is compact, loud and close to the stage, which makes sense for songs that have been deliberately rearranged to hit harder and move faster. A seated theatre would flatten some of that appeal.

The project’s current live run also suggests this is more than a one-off novelty booking. Taylor More Swiftly have a full list of UK dates through late 2026 and into January 2027, so the band are developing the concept as an ongoing touring show.
