That combination suggests more than one straightforward revival. The Who and Led Zeppelin point towards physical rhythm sections and large-scale classic rock dynamics. Meanwhile, Alice in Chains and Smashing Pumpkins bring darker harmony, grunge texture and a more emotionally exposed edge. The band’s first shows took place in smaller London clubs and venues.
